What is the best way to add a scope of at least 3-9x- 4-16x power..... to a G3 rifle ?
I have a weaver style rail already on the rifle with a Ncstar 3-9x42mm scope ...... but not sure if it can handle the 308. round or not
The NC Star scope can handle the .308 just fine. .308 do not put out much recoil and the NC line of scopes are alot better than many think. Mount it with standard rings and everything will be fine. I shoot a .458 Lott Mag with a NC Star 3x9x40 on it. Works just fine, and if it can handle that recoil the .308 will not even shake it !
