Vision Goggles
Are night vision goggles illegal in California?

So I was looking online ate the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige edition, and it comes with fully functional night vision goggles. I was just curious to see if they are even legal here. Don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. So if you know if they are legal or not, please let me know and show me a reference just so I can double check. Thanks.

They are legal, what could be illegal is the use you give them. For example in California they are illegal if mounted on a rifle; also if used to spy on someone (mostly if the person is on private property).

So as long as you do nothing illegal you will be fine; besides those goggle are not "military grade"; for sure the goggle you'll get are some "made in china" fancy toy.
