Under Barrel
Is it possible to attach a pistol under the barrel of an M4?

Its an M-4 with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rail System

Yes. Dangerous - yes. Legal - no - an accidental discharge would be considered misconduct with a firearm.

A skilled marksman notices the difference in balance between a rifle with a fully loaded magazine and an empty magazine. A total novice would have issues accuratly firing an M4 - at any distance - with the additinal 2lb+ of a loaded auto pistol on the front rails. And since the pistol is not at dead center, the fulcrum + leverage weight would make this pistol seem to weight 2x to 3x more and pull the nose of the rifle down.

I can attach training wheels to my F-250 4x4 - and they would work just as good as your pistol.
