My rotor will not come off after beating on it for two days 10points?
I have a 96 eclipse with 140k miles. The picture shown is before removing the pad holder. I removed the pad holder, used the torch, and a can of wd-40 with nothing.
I drilled through the small holes, and beat it with a hammer for two days! And removed chunks of the rotor from the hammer.
I know I dont have to remove the big shaft bolt because the new rotors I bought for this car has a big hole in the middle where it goes over the huge bolt.
I dont know what to do, if anyone can find a manual how to remove the rotors on a 96 eclipse would help a ton.

First you must remove the brake caliper! Use PB Blaster rust solvent around all the lug-studs and the center where it slides on the wheel bearing after the rust is brushed away. Repeat the Blaster treatment several times and walk away from the job to let the solvent do it's job.
Go to any hardware store and buy a 1/4 drive mandrel-brush to fit an electric or battery powered drill and get everything clean. Your hammer isn't heavy enough. Buy a cheap maul and beat the chipped rotor from the back side as you turn the rotor.
