is it safe to cover a LED light with tape?
I bought one of those homemedics soothing sounds of water , fountains, and its great and I love it, its got 3 LED lights on it to make the water glow which looks great, but one of them shines right in my eye and its super bright, would it be safe to cover the light up with a peice of electrical tape? or could it gt hot and catch fire? im thinking it should be safe but ya never know.

I do this all the time for those troublesome little indicator LED's. They don't get hot so there's really no problem.
