52-58mm Cokin filter on a 35mm lens - reflection problem?
I'm using a 58mm max filter on a Lumix FZ8 Digital Camera using Cokin's filter adapter and a jump ring made for my cameras proprietary attachment size. The problem I'm having is, light is entering behind the filter and causing a reflection of the lens against the filter. I tried covering the filter adapter in black tape, but light passing through the filter (infrared 89b partially opaque) is being reflected. Is there any trick to get rid of this? See picture below for an example of my problem. (sorry for the blurryness, i was just doing some test shots without a tripod)

Although the Cokin system has been around for a long time and continues to enjoy popularity, IMO buying a filter to fit your lens is the best way to eliminate your problem.
