The boots have a stain and scratch resistant coating of Armor-dillo, an outsole of carbon rubber, and a midsole of compression molded EVA. Other specialties of this Original Swat boots are gel inserts at forefoot and heel, steel shank, removable foot-bed, and toe and heel counters.
MTO air sole waterproof Original Swat boots have an upper made of leather with a waterproof membrane. The oil resistant and slip resistant outsole and gusseted heavy-duty zipper and steel shank are similar to its well-known classic 9" boots. The difference is mainly in the air cushion sole that provides athletic cushioning. The arch ladder tread of the boots give good grip on ropes and edges. The zipper has got a Velcro closure that keeps the zipper fob in place.
The steel toe Original Swat boots have an upper of leather and nylon and is lighter than the classic 9" though it is basically of the same pattern. Because of the steel toe provision, these shoes are the choice of many people working in comparatively hazardous environments.
The Original Swat dress oxford shoes are also immensely popular. It has an upper made of clarino which is a synthetic leather like substance, waxed laces, and an oil and slip resistant outsole that is mock welted. This Original Swat boots is glossy and to maintain the shine, a special cleaning agent is recommended by the company for it.
