Tag Heuer has teamed up with Automobili Lamborghini to create a new luxury limited edition phone, known as the MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini. In a tribute to the year Lamborghini was launched, only 1963 phones will be available for sale.

The Tag Heuer Phone is crafted from titanium and crystals with a top coat of stainless steel. The keyboard features the bull logo for Lamborghini while the back of the device is engraved with the phone's limited edition number. Features include 28 hours of standby time, 7 hours talk time, 2 megapixel camera sensor, music playback, 2GB, USB compatible, 2 LCD screens, web browser and built in modem.

The Tag Heuer Meridiist Automobili Lamborghini will be available starting this month through select authorized retailers. You can find a listing of these retailers on the phone's official website. Although no official pricing was announced in the press release today, expect to pay upwards of $8000 to own one of these phones.

The TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Lamborghini Mobile Phone is a tribute to the year the Italian supercar manufacturer was founded, which means only 1963 pieces will be available. The TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Lamborghini Mobile Phone comes in black titanium carbide coated 316L stainless steel, it has a serial number on the back cover and a Taurus bull branded steel central button. The battery cover of the TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Lamborghini Mobile Phone has the same signature as the one on Murcielago LP 640's V12 engine block.

The TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Lamborghini Mobile Phone price has not been announced but the manufacturer says it will become available this month in select luxury phones and Lamborghini retailers. Inspired by the mythic Lamborghini Murcielago, TAG Heuer, the world leader in luxury sports watches and chronographs has teamed up with the famous Italian super sports car manufacturer to create the limited-edition MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone.

In tribute to the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded, 1963 pieces of this finely-tuned device will be sold worldwide.

Housed in black titanium carbide coated 316L stainless steel, the design of the MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone references the super.

sports car down to its famed signature on the battery cover - the same as on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640's V12 engine block. The back of the device is engraved with its limited edition number while the keyboard is customized with Automobili Lamborghini's trademark Taurus bull on the steel central button.

The MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini phone is luxuriously crafted and detailed, marrying the most prestigious materials and advanced components in the watchmaking and automotive worlds.

The display is made from 60.5 carats of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Its battery life is unrivalled and offers a seven hours talk time or 28 days standby power.
