The POSP is the POSP. It's a standard sized scope mount made for many of the modern Russian arms. To mount one on a Mosin, you need the little rail and you need to drill and tap and then screw the rail into the side of the receiver of the rifle. You will ruin any collector value and you will also need to cut away wood to fit it.
