Does Jena Six support movement think violence is okay?

I am referring to this if you are wondering what I mean: http://www.jenasix.org/

"The Jena Six are a group of black students who are being charged with attempted murder for beating up a white student who was taunting them with racial slurs, and continued to support other white students who hung three nooses from the high schools "white tree" which sits in the front yard."

Okay, I understand the scope of just how inexplainably wrong it is to use racist slurs or racism in general. That alone should have been punished way before any of this happened.

But I can't understand why anyone should think that resorting back with violence, or rather beating up a person 6-on-1 until he was bleeding is perfecly okay or not that big of a deal.

Why the hell are they looking at this as a racial issue or political statement? Instead of freeing the Jena Six, shouldn't they punish both sides for the crimes they committed here?

If I never hear of Jena Six again in my lifetime it will be fine with me.

A citizen can't just take law into own hands . You can't just walk up and hit someone because you do not like what they say.

Currently, we do not allow citizens to beat on other citizens. We do allow cops to beat on citizens or taze them. LOL. The six kids should have utilized these services. They had school administration to report this too. There is an orderly process and it should have been followed.

I do not agree that American's speech should even be an issue. You have an option to respond or ignore anyones opinion of you. Can you go beat them ? NO. You can insult them back. YES. We draw the line at physical contact. You touch them with your finger and you are off to jail with a few fines/ possible lawsuits , attorney to fee, time off from school / work to attend court and whatever the judge decides is appropriate to try to get your attention .

IGNORE is a powerful tool. We need to be able to understand it , get familiar and utlilize it to live in America.

You will be pushed to the edge as an adult by governments, family members, freinds, co workers, bosses,angry disgrunted workers, some are justified / some are not. You must be trained for every scenario imaginable. These are tests , we all go through. If you grossly miss a mark, you must evaluate where you went wrong. Do not miss again.

If you do not like a tree / want a tree , you must work through the systems , to get a tree. Do we really need black and white trees ? Asian treas, Hispanic trees. It's so STUPID .

If you hang a noose . A black person should have hung an VOODO doll .

Where are the teachers / school administrators in all of this ? Why were authorities cops not have used to remove nooses.

This is America , we are planning to share trees. If you are not willing to share a tree , enjoy the shade together , then the party that is opposing should leave. It must be two way mutual . The behavior of the student was wrong to have ever insulted an African American. It's just wrong. The African American should have utilized IGNORE and left it at that. Do you preplan six of your buddies to beat each other until your are bleeding ? NO , NEVER !

We really do not want to pay for your life to contain you in a prison. We'd prefer you leave our country. Blacks and Whites and all citizens must learn to live together.

The blacks have directed this anger for years to the whites . The proper receiptent of this anger is the Government. The government allowed slavery. The have an issue , let them take it up with their government officials and utilize our court systems.

White people had better to realize that a black person , may be the person , that saves your life in an auto accident. Your pilot of your aircraft pay be black. Your seatmate on a train or plane may be black. The doctor that cures cancer may be black. A black person may engineer, create or envision a way to innovate a new fuel that will replace the need to cars / lead us into space . You may have a black leader in a business , who is your highest level strategic thinker and performer in the room.

Your black performer , your Asian , your Hispanic are all valued members of your team. These people will bring your diversity , your edge , ability to innovate , create , sustain , build .

WHY DO WE FEAR EACH OTHER ? Why can't we cross those lines ? Our government was wrong. It should be a gross embarrassment to any white person , a reminder of the history here.

What is the issue ? What do we need ? Every citizen needs to be thinking about this.

It does not matter who smiles first . If whites are the majority, perhaps they must , cross those racial lines . Do what you can to change / make this world better place. Make the extra effort to be more tolerant / drop your fear / get educated / let someone through TODAY of another race. Be a good driver, let another car in . Let another woman go first in line. Smile at a child and see the future. Do not see black / white / asian/ indian / male/ female/ gay/ straight / see a human being that was created by GOD . You are in fact brothers / sisters. Be more tolerant of family.
