If I attach a scope to a rifle which also allows the irons to be used will that throw off the zero on my irons?

Because of the added weight and change it distribution? Is this also the case for any accesories you put on a gun no matter location?
So adding weight won't throw of my zero? And yes it is a see through.

The only way adding a scope would mess up your iron sights would be if you bumped them installing the Scope Base or rings. Even then it would have to be a very substantial bump. They are pretty rugged. The only problem with see-through rings is it puts the scope too high and you can't keep your cheek on the stock solidly. I tried a set on one of my rifles and it felt so awkward I took them off after one session shooting with them. I've found a variable scope works much better as long as the low setting is no more than 3 power. My personal favorite for a big game rifle is a 2X7. At 2 power you have a big field of view so you can aquire targets fast and the 7 power gives you plenty of magnification for long shots. I even have a gun with a 1.5X4.5 scope and one with a fixed 2 power scope. At 1 1/2 power the field of view is huge. It's easier to put cross-hairs on something than line up a Rear Sight with a front sight and then aim at a target. Low light conditions are better with a scope too. As for your question, no it won't affect the point of aim. Adding a sling, bi-pod or any other gear won't affect where the gun shoots.
