if i became a marine military?
i heard mp's see almost as much combat as regular marines. is this true or will i end up being sent to some remote place to guard a base?
sorry for the title i messed up.
For the last time..MP's are NOT infantry Marines..They do not go to the school of infantry..Yes, due to the nature of this war location there is no longer a front line of action therefore anyone can get into the action at any moment..
MP's do work with the infantry but their mission is not the same as that of an infantry Marine..
In order to perform infantry like stuff you need to become a infantry Marine..MP's might and might not get you close to "action" depending on where you get sent..If your a MP and no infantry is near and something happens guess what..Your gonna be an infantry man until they arrive..
But the infantry does not call the MP's for infantry help and the MP's are not doing patrols and they simply are not infantry..
What happens is that sometimes MP's are in the same location as infantry Marines when something might break out..You cant tell the MP's to leave so they join in as best as they can..So then they go tell everyone what happened and some translate this as to MP's also being infantry..Its simply not true..Field MP's do know basic infantry skills because they need these skills to perform their jobs in the field..
