putting a matte finish on a shotgun?
just wondering the approximate price to refinish a 12 gauge remington 870 wingmaster in matte finish by a gunsmith. it is currently blued. thanks.
I would just get it Parkerized. It doesn't rust as nearly as easy as bluing and painted finished. A local gunsmith might charge you $150 max to do it.
It is not expensive to set up at home either. I have about $350 invested in equipment and supplies with the blasting cabinet and air compressor being the most expensive.
