What tripod should I get for my Canon Rebel XTI for self portraits? Also - what is a good close up lens.?

I have an 18-55 and I have a fisheye but it was not made for my canon and I'm not very happy with it. Looking for a Macro. Not sure what I'd like though--any suggestions will do. Thanks

For Macro lens I would recommend Canon 60mm
