Horoscope For February 2010

Aries – (March 20 – April 19) So, how do you feel about all this psychic stuff, Aries; messages from angels; knowing who is going to call you in advance of the ring? Of course you probably want to know the winning lotto number – I guess some things take time. The gates to your solar 12th house are open this month, Aries. It speaks to endings, but also to the opening of your unconscious mind.

Uranus has been stirring things up some time, and Jupiter now expands this fertile ground. Think of the way a garden grows; the soil nurtures flowers, weeds and even nasty insects. ‘Big boss’ Jupiter expands all, good and bad. Venus adds her 2 cents after the 11th, and the Sun heats things up after the 18th. It’s one big garden party! The month ends with a Full Moon in Virgo on the 28th, the same day the Sun joins Jupiter in Pisces. This is about acquiring the skills and tools to manifest your vision. Sweet dreams, Aries.

Taurus – (April 20 – May 20) With Leo retrograde in your 4th house of core energy, patience serves you well Taurus. This is a time to regroup and schedule your grand emergence with the New Moon of May 13th. In the meantime, though, you can make great strides by combining you skills and talents with determination. The result is stability plus predictable outcomes in the sometimes uncertain game of life.

Currency comes in the form of ideas and friendships. Money is good, too, but think faces this month. The New Moon of February 13th is in your 10th house of career and public image. Neptune slides into this mix which always brings a margarita of change into your destiny. Accept it graciously. The good news is that the Full Moon in Virgo highlights your 5th house of creativity and play. I cannot stress enough, Taurus, it’s about who you know or meet this time around.

Gemini – (May 21 – June 20) Any nagging feeling that something wasn’t quite right can be relieved after this month, Gemini. Any situation that may have been teetering on the edge of change will resolve and at least you know where you stand. With this knowledge, you can now proceed towards solid ground. Saturn and Pluto formed a stressful square aspect last month in your solar 5th and 8th houses. The way out is the way through, and your standard is with integrity and dignity.

It’s possible that what you thought was your reality has suddenly taken on a new flavor. Actually, the stew is still cooking in the pot. Be gentile with yourself and others. There is a silver lining to any cloud. Remember that words can be a powerful source of healing and rectification, and that your positive attitude can light up any day.

Cancer – (June 21 – July 21) This month presents an interesting scenario: things are good all over, but you are saying “show me the money!” Jupiter and Venus join forces in Pisces on the 16th making this is your GOOD time and illuminating your solar 9th house of wisdom and higher mind; beautiful.

But, Mars in your money sector plays the trickster. Somehow you must think creatively to fulfill the promise of the benefics Jupiter and Venus. Find a solution by calling upon the resources of your higher mind. When you reach out in this direction it becomes like Christmas time all over again. Often these lovely planets in a charitable sign work subtly. Pay attention to nuance, or like a silvery trout, this opportunity may swim past you.

Leo – (July 22 – August 22) Wow, Leo! Mars has been dancing with you since last October, and he asks you to Tango until mid July. Meanwhile, he plays tough with Pluto (power) and just cannot understand Venus (love). What can a brave heart do? Be bold and beautiful, and take full advantage of the opportunities which are coming your way – that’s what. You might want to do a ‘pay attention’ dance each and every morning this month, because good things are coming in fast and furious; you just have to be able to handle the energy.

The New Moon of February 13th highlights your relationship sector, Leo. Yes, finally! Neptune in the mix makes you all dreamy eyed and spiritual – past life connection, best friends for life, etc, etc. Well, maybe. This really is a possibility because Venus and Jupiter in you solar 8th house team up on the 16th to break any negative spells from the past. The deeper question here is: can you truly open your heart and surrender to love? Only you know the answer. This time can also be a turning point where you realize it’s not what you wanted and you are ready to let it go. The good news is that if it’s not love, it will be money. Now you can turn that into a cosmic win-win situation and even take it to the bank.

Virgo – (August 23 – September 22) Obsessions are ruled by Pluto. They can be so energizing in one way, but they also drain you as they feed off of your vital life force. It’s all in the overview, and fortunately this is where you walk on solid ground. Jupiter in Pisces until June 5th is determined to grant you favor in all relationships, both personal and professional. Venus conjunct Jupiter in your solar 7th house makes the 16th a fortuitous time to renegotiate, or even renew and redefine existing partnerships. Here is where you can gain advantage of your rock solid skills in preparation and leverage. Think about how you might benefit from this planetary lineup – and put together a plan.

Part of the problem is that your work scene is disintegrating, or, shall I say, shifting. What you used to love, or at least tolerate, is no longer bearable. It’s time to salvage what is good, and let the rest go. In addition to fancy dreams, Pluto also grants you a wealth of creativity and passion. Libra – (September 23 – October 21) The Aquarius New Moon of February 13th highlights you solar 5th house of creativity and the life of your inner child. But, the Full Moon of Feb 28th dwells in your 12th house of karma and endings. It also brings light to you unconscious fears and motivations; and Light is an antidote for unresolved fear. So, this is a great month for inner work, Libra. Pluto has been knocking on the door for a while now, also. Finding your inner core strength creates an anchor that grounds the outer life and lands you on top of the wheel of fortune.

Blessed be – Jupiter and Venus conjunct on the 16th in Pisces. This defines your solar 6th house of survival skills and tools for practical life. The Sun conjunct Neptune on the 14th can either put you under a spell of illusion, or assist you in opening the doors to your creativity; this will be an excellent day to find a sacred spot beside the water and merge your heart with the desires of your soul. Name, and claim it this month Libra.

Scorpio – (October 22 – November 21) The asteroid goddess Pallas Athena spends much of this year in your sign, Scorpio. Pallas is a marker of productivity as well as clarity. She is going to assist you in refining your skills and talents so that you can take things to the next level. In Scorpio, she is also a skilled strategist with a depth of perception that delivers you to the core of any issue or situation. Perfect! Make friends with this goddess because she is a great ally. Only problem is that she is not especially romantic, so you have to work on that one; spend some quality time with Venus, too.

However, the beautiful part of this dance is that like a breath of fresh air, freedom and joy enter into the vacancy created in your life. The 14th also initiates the Chinese year of the white metal tiger; an era of toughness, generosity and wealth earned with hard work- perfect for you Scorpio. Now, hopefully you are comfortable with the concept of change. So here is your secret tip; the way you get ahead this year is through your creative efforts, not self sacrificial, endless work. Sagittarius – (November 22– December 20) With Uranus transiting your 4th house of home, family, and your inner foundation, it would appear that the winds of change have been howling in your ears; dogging your every step. And now, it looks like that old hound dog is going to have a litter of puppies soon, Sag. As if by magic, opportunities for expansion and growth appear. The question is: what to do? After the Sun enters Pisces on the 18th, you have 4 luminaries in your 4th house; each one vying to rock your world. Depending on the details of your natal chart and rising sign, this stellium will affect each of you differently, but this is a guaranteed emotional revolution.

Last month delivered a stressful Saturn/Pluto crosshair aspect which pitted your financial picture against your long term goals. And this month the Full Moon of February 28th shines on your house or career and public image. Plus the New Moon of February 13th which volleys an opening shot into your 3rd house of information is tangled up in a can of worms delivered by Neptune. Capricorn – (December 21 – January 19) Being a cardinal sign, yours is in the crosshairs of action between two powerful planets, Saturn and Pluto. And, of course last month presented a powerful Solar Eclipse also in Capricorn. With these events as a framework, it is likely that in some way you felt ‘squeezed’. And now you move on. Saturn in Libra brings respect and mature stability to our 10th solar house of career and public image. Now in retrograde motion until late May, Saturn asks you to set the stage for your new career, but is also making sure that all systems are in place.

Fitting for this season, the ancients burned pine needles to call back the Sun. A dose of Sol Invictus is just the antidote for your mid winter blues. Neptune in your money sector has been also working his magic for some time now, perhaps causing your finances to feel like a leaky boat. Here is another secret about Neptune in this position; once you fix the leaks you sail into rich waters. Some of the wealthiest people I meet have Neptune in their money house. However, this takes time and great navigation skills.

Aquarius – (January 20 – February 17) Philosophically, the question for February is: how can I take this New Age stuff to the bank. The answer is: with confidence and positive vibrations. Really, it will work for you in the months ahead. Jupiter and Venus join forces in your 2nd house of finances and self worth on the 16th which is a fabulous place for these two to lend you their favor.

Persevere through the mirage of self doubt, Aquarius. That’s all it is, just a wall of illusion, although it may feel tangled and dark like the gorgon Medusa. And like Perseus, your treasure lies just beyond her fearsome clutches; move ahead and do not look back. How else do we get to the promised land of the Age of Aquarius, that elusive temple of ‘love and light?’

Pisces – (February 18 – March 19) How do you like being the center of attention, Pisces? This is you month to shine, so you might want to get some tips from a friendly Leo. (The first thing to do is make sure that your hair looks great.) Seriously, the planets have your name written in the stars now. This is a month to step ahead and live your life on a grand scale, so think and act in broad strokes. Think about the ways you want to set yourself up for the rest of this year, and take decisive action.

Finances can also be set up nicely this month, Pisces. Prosperity flows through increasing your social contacts. You do have to trade your efforts; with Saturn in Libra now there will be few free rides. But with the right system in place, plus meeting lots of people, the money picture is bright. Pay attention on the 24th when the planetary angles flow together to create a perfect storm of opportunity.
